Glock Gen 3 Locking block Prototyping File/Lost PLA casting

This is a custom-designed, 3D-printable lower receiver frame inspired by the Glock 19X platform (full-size grip with compact slide compatibility). The design incorporates a Polymer80 (P80) style rail system, meaning it uses separate front rail (locking block rail) and rear rail module metal inserts (not included—standard aftermarket P80 rails required for function).

Printed prototype shown in red filament for maximum visibility and detail checking during testing.

Key Features & Design Notes:

  • Full-size grip with aggressive texturing on front strap and backstrap for improved control and ergonomics.

  • Flared magwell base for faster reloads.

  • Undercut trigger guard and high-beavertail profile for a higher, more natural grip.

  • Precise pockets and cuts for standard P80 front/rear rail inserts (metal parts drop in for slide support and alignment).

  • Compatible trigger housing pocket, sear area, pin holes, and locking block interface for Glock Gen3 parts compatibility (upper, slide, barrel, etc.).

  • Compact carry-oriented proportions while maintaining the 19X's signature look.

Important Details:

  • This is a digital STL file (plus STEP export option if available) for personal prototyping, fitment testing, and custom modifications only.

  • Proof-of-concept / educational use — Ideal for builders testing ergonomics, rail alignment, print settings, material strength, or custom tweaks before final builds.

  • Requires metal P80 rails (front locking block rail + rear rail module) and full Glock-compatible components to become functional. Rails are sold separately by various vendors (e.g., 80% Arms, 5D Tactical, etc.).

  • Not a complete firearm kit — No parts included; this is CAD data only.

  • Personal use only — For your own private, non-commercial builds. Do not redistribute, resell, or use for prohibited purposes.

  • Age 18+ required — Verification enforced before download.

Print responsibly: Use tough materials (e.g., nylon, carbon-fiber filled, or reinforced PLA/PETG) and test thoroughly. Always follow all federal, state, and local laws regarding privately made firearms (PMFs).
